This answer is going to be pretty lame but I don’t travel a lot because I am a certified workaholic (and prior to moving to nyc most of my vacation was spent going to NYC to see shows…). I’ve been thinking about it a lot for the past 10 minutes or so and it has to be my last minute decision to go to Ottawa with Nikki when she went to like, idk, bring clothes up to her apartment (or back from her apartment? I can’t even remember why we went.)

Our transition from acquaintances to unequivocal best friends was so gradual that it’s hard to pinpoint any certain steps or advancements were made in our friendship. But car rides are always the best way to get to know people better and that goes doubly so when you’re killing time crossing the border in bumper to bumper traffic. I just got really happy thinking about this again. Let me see if I can pull up my favorite picture of me & Nik of all time (from that trip, obvs)

I don’t have it. Now I’m bummed. Nik do you have it? Do you even know the one I’m talking about? I think your friend Maeve took it (was that her name)? If you get it for me that would make my life.
